Thomas Vaughn pleads guilty to driving drunk, killing Gary Kroll in Lake Ronkonkoma
A Lake Grove man has pleaded guilty in a drunken driving crash that killed a Lake Ronkonkoma dad. Thomas Vaughn was driving drunk when he struck and killed Gary Kroll on Express Drive North last March.

A Lake Grove man has pleaded guilty in a drunken driving crash that killed a Lake Ronkonkoma dad.
Thomas Vaughn was driving drunk when he struck and killed Gary Kroll on Express Drive North last March.
Vaughn pleaded guilty to criminally negligent homicide and DWI.
The judge ordered Vaughn to spend nine months in a DWI facility and five years on probation. An ignition interlock device will also be installed on his car.
Vaughn will be sentenced next week.
