Kids can get active during Presidents Week with the triple play in Freeport
If you want your kids to get active and have fun, head to the Freeport Rec Center for a great deal during Presidents Week.
For just $7, kids can pick three sports to play at the center during the week, and you don't have to live in the village to take advantage of the deal.
"For $7, they come to our facility and they have the choice from 12:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. to either play in the gymnasium, to swim in the indoor pool or skate in the ice skating rink," says Victoria Dinielli, of the rec center.
The 13-foot pool has a few diving boards, if your kids are feeling adventurous. And if they are old enough, let them enjoy themselves while you get your own workout in the gym upstairs.
"I think it's just like a typical day at camp. It's just a great place to be, it's a lot of fun," says Dinielli. "It's just do what you want, where you want and the parents know their kids are safe."
