Weather update: Scattered rain, snow showers for the rest of the day
News 12 Long Island Meteorologist Rich Hoffman says snow showers and scattered rain is expected for the rest of the day.
Temperatures will start to warm up on Wednesday, which will bring scattered showers and a high of 46 degrees.
Meteorologists say the warm-up will continue through Friday, when the Island could see highs near 50 that will likely melt away some of the frozen February snow.
