Smithtown native John Daly will have to wait four more years for another chance at medaling at the Olympic Games.
Daly entered the final skeleton run in Sochi just 0.4 seconds behind third place. At the beginning of the run, Daly stumbled and fell from fourth to 15th place.
Daly finished in 17th at the 2010 Olympic Games in Vancouver.
