Lynbrook H.S. on alert due to 'undisclosed' threat

The staff at Lynbrook High School is being put on alert because of an "undisclosed" threat.

The district sent out a letter saying it's working with the Lynbrook and Nassau police departments.

Students are being told no backpacks are allowed in school Friday and that personal belongings could be searched.

There will also be police officers at the school as a precaution.
