If you want to celebrate Valentine's Day but don't want to leave the house, why not surprise your sweetheart with a breakfast filled with romance and hearts? Elegant Affairs' Andrea Correale teamed up with News 12's Elizabeth Hashagen and Elisa DiStefano to show us how to treat your loved one to a special breakfast.
"Grab a cookie cutter," says Correales. But you won't be making cookies. Try making a sunny-side up egg inside the heart-shaped cookie cutter. Then, make some toast and cut out some more hearts, Correale suggests.
Or why not get crafty? Cut out a paper heart and tape it to a popsicle stick or straw. Place the heart on the pancake and sprinkle powdered sugar around it.
Try a healthier option and use that cookie cutter to cut heart-shaped fruit and melon. Correale suggests cutting up the fruit and sending it off with your kids or sweetheart in their lunch for a Valentine's Day surprise.
