50th anniversary of Beatles legendary performance on ‘Ed Sullivan Show’ remembered
Sunday marks the 50th anniversary of the Beatles' first appearance on "The Ed Sullivan Show," and their first appearance in America.
In 1964, 73 million people tuned in to watch George, Paul, Ringo and John. Their music sparked what would be later known as the "British Invasion."
A special Sunday concert at the Ed Sullivan Theater aimed to commemorate the performance that forever changed music.
