Gerard Brown, Nicholas McNeil accused in string of Hempstead holdups
Police say they have arrested two men in connection to nearly a dozen holdups in Hempstead. 
According to police, the men repeatedly hit stores and gas stations on Peninsula Boulevard, Franklin Street and other locations. 
The same Dunkin' Donuts was robbed three times and a deli on Franklin Street was also hit three times since the fall. 
The men have been identified as Gerard Brown, of Roosevelt, and Nichols McNeil, of Hempstead. 
Both men are facing robbery charges.
