Drivers are urged to take it slow across Long Island as falling temperatures create icy conditions on roadways.
Dipping temperatures could freeze roads left wet after Wednesday's snow and ice.
DPW crews will be working to treat major roadways for the Thursday morning commute.
More snow is in the forecast for Sunday evening.
