Snow day prompts sledding in Farmingville

With students out of school for yet another snow day, many took to the hills of Long Island to feed their need for speed.

News 12 reporter Kevin Maher was at Bald Hill in Farmingville, where kids were spending their day sliding on the wet, heavy snow accumulations.

Forecasters say snow will reach 5 to 8 inches in most parts of Long Island, with a bit less on the East End.

Commuters are warned to take caution on roadways, as temperatures are expected to drop Monday night.
