LI businesses get Super Bowl boost

Restaurants, bars, delis and bakeries across Long Island got a boost in sales Sunday as customers prepared for their Super Bowl XLVIII parties.
At Valley Caterers in Franklin Sqare, workers came in early to fill all of the orders. They say they went through 1,000 pounds of wings and hundreds of feet of hero.
Jeanie's Bakery on Park Avenue in Wantagh had specialty cakes and cupcaakes prepared for the big game.
"It takes a whole week to prep for the cakes that we make," said Jeanie Annecco, the bakery's owner. She says the bakery has been making custom Super Bowl cakes for the past three years.
