Joshua Rosenberg, 16, shot while walking on Scott Avenue in Deer Park
Police are searching for the suspect who shot a teenager in Deer Park.
They say 16-year-old Joshua Rosenberg was walking down Scott Avenue with friends when shots were fired, possibly from a car. He was hit in the arm and is expected to be OK.
Police say the incident occured at around midnight. Rosenberg was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital, where he is in stable condition.
Anyone with information is asked to call Suffolk County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
