A Wyandanch man is accused of driving drunk and crashing into a police cruiser.
The incident occurred just before midnight Friday on Little East Neck Road in West Babylon.
The officer was conducting a traffic stop when police say Jose Hernandez slammed into his car.
Both the officer and a woman who had been pulled over were taken to a local hospital. They are expected to be OK.
