The Massapequa man accused of faking his own drowning at Jones Beach to cash-in on life insurance money was back in court today.
Raymond Roth is staying out on bail following a court hearing in Mineola.
Authorities say Roth faked his death as part of a life insurance scam. Roth is also accused of violating an order of protection by calling his soon to be ex-wife.
After the hearing was adjourned, Roth's attorney spoke about his client's well being and said he is feeling much better.
Roth is due back in court on Sept. 18.
