Park police: Pantsless man exposed himself at Belmont Lake State Park

Police scoured Belmont Lake State Park in North Babylon Saturday for a man who may have exposed himself to parkgoers.

State park police say the man was not wearing any pants when he was spotted at the park Saturday morning. He remains on the run.

State park police say there haven't been any similar incidents at Belmont Lake recently, but there were at least five reported incidents of men exposing themselves to parkgoers at the Massapequa Preserve in Massapequa in October of last year. One arrest was made in connection with those incidents.

A description of the man involved in Saturday's incident was not available, but News 12 is told that state park police patrols were looking out for him.

Anyone with information is urged to call park police at 631-669-2500.
