Newest recruits graduate from Nassau County Police Department

The newest group of Nassau County's finest has been sworn in.

More than 180 recruits received certificates of completion last night at the Tilles Center at LIU Post in Greenvale.

New Officer Taylor Coupe says she's following in her father's footsteps, who's also a member of the force.

A total of 156 recruits graduated to the Nassau County Police Department.

Officials say 25 others graduated to the Sheriff's Department and village and city departments.
