Police: 3 shot during vigil in Coram

Police are investigating a shooting that injured three people during a vigil in Coram last night.

Police say they responded to Judith Drive around 9:40 p.m. after a resident reported hearing gunshots.

Upon arrival, officers determined three men had been shot during a vigil in memory of a car crash victim.

Sources on the scene say the vigil was for Reynaldo Pena, 19, a Coram teen who died in a car crash on Friday.

All three victims were transported to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

Detectives are asking anyone with information on the shooting to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
