Police say a mother and her 4-year-old son have been hospitalized after being ejected from a taxi that was involved in a crash in Riverhead.
The incident happened around 5 p.m. as the taxi turned in front of another vehicle on Roanoake Avenue and Southern Parkway.
The taxi driver and driver of the other vehicle were also taken to the hospital.
All four people were treated for non-life threatening injuries.
