On this day five years ago, the body of Shannan Gilbert was found.
The search for Gilbert lead to the discovery of a graveyard along Ocean Parkway.
Investigators say Gilbert disappeared in May 2010 near Oak Beach while working as a prostitute.
Gilbert was last heard from when she made frantic 911 calls running from the home of the man who had hired her.
While searching for her, police found 10 sets of remains near Gilgo Beach.
No one has been arrested in connection with Gilbert's death or the deaths of the 10 others.
