Police ID victim in Mount Sinai car crash

Police are investigating a crash that killed a Mount Sinai man yesterday.



According to police, Glenn Taylor, 66, was operating his car southbound on Chestnut Street when he struck a tree south of Route 25A.



Taylor was pronounce dead at the scene.



Police say the vehicle was impounded for safety check and the investigation is continuing.



Detectives are asking anyone with information on the crash to call (631) 854-8652.
