Officials in East Hills are warning residents to lock their cars after recent car break-ins.

Mayor Michael Koblenz says within the last couple of days things were stolen from three unlocked cars in the area.

Koblenz is reminding residents that as they head into the holiday season, there are a higher number of theft crimes.

In addition, Koblenz is warning residents to also set their house alarms.
