Merchant Marine Academy worker charged with bribery
A worker at the Merchant Marine Academy has been hit with bribery charges.
Frank DeCarlo, 66, is the head of carpentry at the school in Kings Point.
According to Newsday, DeCarlo is accused of taking tens of thousands of dollars in bribes from contractors over a 10-year period.
The 66-year-old from Franklin Square faces 10 years in prison if convicted.
