A politically connected restaurant owner is now out on bail.
Harendra Singh posted $5 million bail yesterday.
As News 12 reported, Singh is accused of bribing an Oyster Bay town official in exchange for $20 million in guaranteed loans.
Singh's attorney says his client has serious health problems, and is now required to wear a home monitoring device.
Singh's trial is scheduled to begin in January.
