Nassau SPCA offers $5K reward after swan is shot with darts

A $5,000 reward is being offered for information leading to whoever shot a swan with darts in the Massapequa Preserve.



The Nassau SPCA says the incident happened Saturday night near the Kiwanis fishing bridge.



The darts in the bird's wings have been removed, and the swan is now back at the preserve.



Anyone with information is asked to contact the Nassau SPCA.
