A Commack man is accused of operating his boat while intoxicated and crashing into a buoy.
Police say 35-year-old Erik Dowgiallo left the Dublin Deck bar in Patchogue after a fight Saturday night, and witnesses say he sped off down the Patchogue River in his boat.
He then allegedly hit a buoy in Patchogue Bay.
Dowgiallo and two other men on board were not injured.
Dowgiallo is being charged with BWI.
