2 accused of using counterfeit bills at Roosevelt Field

Two teens are accused of using counterfeit $100 bills at the Roosevelt Field mall.

Police say 18-year-old Eskarlin Pena and 16-year-old Marywil Gomez used the bogus bills at the Vera Bradley store Saturday night.

The teens allegedly had more fake $100 bills on them when they were arrested.

Pena is facing five counts of possession of a forged instrument. Gomez is being charged with six counts of the same charge.
