Police: Man posed as officer, robbed driver in Woodmere

Police are searching for a man who posed as a police officer and robbed a driver in Woodmere.



Police released a sketch of a bearded man who targeted a driver in broad daylight.



According to police, a man turned on his red lights and pulled over a driver at 3:45 p.m. on Broadway.



Police say the man made the victim remove his belongings, sent him back to his car and then took off with the driver's wallet.



Nassau police say drivers should ask for badge numbers or identification if pulled over by an unmarked vehicle.
