Nassau police ceremony honors slain Baton Rouge officers

Nassau police officers and the PBA union gathered in Mineola today to mourn the officers who were killed in Louisiana Sunday.

Taps played as a wreath was placed at the Nassau County Police Memorial at police headquarters in Mineola.

Nassau officials say the Baton Rouge and Dallas attacks on police threaten the fabric of society.

Separately, a fundraiser was held at Mulcahy's in Wantagh to benefit the five officers who were slain in Dallas last week.
