Police say a man was placed in a chokehold and robbed in Riverhead Saturday night.
The say it happened on Third Street around 10 p.m.
Police say the 25-year-old was approached from behind by two men.
One of the suspects allegedly started choking the victim, while the other went into the victim's pockets and took his wallet and two cellphones.
Police say the suspects then fled on bikes.
