Car hits building following crash in Freeport

Police say a two-car crash ended with one hitting a building in Freeport.

In video obtained by News 12, you can see the car and the damage it did to the front of the building on North Main Street.

Fire officials tell Newsday the car collided with another car last night, which sent it up the steps of the building.

The building has commercial tenants downstairs and apartments upstairs.

No one inside the building was hurt.

News 12 has learned the drivers of both cars were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
