Detectives say a 20-year-old man was hit by a car early Saturday morning in Old Brookville.
Officials say the man was laying in the road on Northern Boulevard just east of Whitney Lane when he was hit around 12:30 a.m.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
There is no word as to why the man was laying in the road.
The driver is not facing any charges.
