Judge finds Lindenhurst man guilty in sex trafficking trial
A Lindenhurst man charged with forcing two girls into prostitution has been found guilty.
A judge found Andrew Gayot guilty on 34 of the 50 charges he was facing.
Police say Gayot kidnapped 15-year-old and a 21-year-old and then held them captive for months in his home on North Green Avenue.
Prosecutors say the girls were beaten, given drugs and forced into prostitution.
Gayot faces up to 50 years in prison.
