The Port Authority is advising travelers flying out of Kennedy airport to leave themselves extra time.
The Port Authority began traffic detours for construction today.
The detours affect traffic to and from JetBlue's Terminal 5.
Travelers could see delays when picking up, dropping off or using the AirTrain.
JetBlue says the construction project will give the airline more space to serve its customers.
