A new phase is about to get underway on the Nassau Coliseum renovation.
Newsday says the makeover to the Coliseum's exterior is slated to begin later this month.
A dramatic latticework of metal panels will become the arena's new façade. It is designed to evoke our Island's coastline.
There's already been substantial work completed inside.
The renovated Coliseum is scheduled to reopen in March.
