A woman celebrated her 106th birthday Wednesday in Centereach.
Workers and fellow residents at the Stony Brook Seniors Club threw a party for Lucy McKie.
Over the past 106 years, McKie has amassed quite the family, including two sons, eight grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 16 great-great-grandchildren.
Although she was born in Brooklyn, McKie tells News 12 she has been living on Long Island since 1919.
Her actual birthday is next week, so Wednesday's celebration was a complete surprise.
