Charges could be dropped against PSEG worker in fatal crash

Prosecutors say two charges against a PSEG Long Island worker, who is accused of texting before a crash that led to the death of a Flanders woman, could be dropped.

In 2014, police say Michael, of Bayport, crossed into oncoming traffic and crashed head-on into Barbara Tocci's SUV on Flanders Road in Flanders.

Officials say Pepe must serve 140 hours of community service instead of facing jail time for the two charges that were previously brought against him, one of which was reckless driving. If Pepe completes the service, the charges will be dropped.
