Video captures man stealing ATM from Westbury store
A Westbury man is accused of stealing an ATM and using a unique ride as his getaway car.
Police say David Hughes was caught on surveillance video taking the machine from the Bravo Supermarket on Post Avenue Friday and then taking off in a miniature school bus.
News 12 is told Hughes was eventually spotted in Queens, near the Grand Central Parkway.
Police say he is also connected to the robbery of a Westbury convenience store in 2013.
