Suspect arrested in murder of man in Huntington

Police have made an arrest in the death of a man found lying in the middle of a street in Huntington on Wednesday.



Samuel White, of Brentwood, was arraigned Thursday on a charge of manslaughter. The 32-year-old was arrested Wednesday in the death of Edwin Rivera.



Rivera, 39, was found covered in blood, lying next to his Mercedes on Clinton Avenue just after 3 a.m. Wednesday. According to court records, he was struck in the head multiple times.



There was no word on a motive for the attack.
