WWII encampment to be held in Old Bethpage this weekend
History comes to life at Old Bethpage Village Restoration this weekend as it marks the events surrounding World War II. Throughout the day there will be military drills and firing demonstrations.

History comes to life at Old Bethpage Village Restoration this weekend as it marks the events surrounding World War II.
Throughout the day there will be military drills and firing demonstrations.
Gloria Sesso, of the American Armor Museum, says we need to be aware of the heroism and the American values that we fight for.
"History needs to be emphasized more in our schools because it's who we are as a nation," says Sesso.
The events take place on Saturday and Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
