4 women arrested for counterfeit items at holiday fair

Four women were arrested for allegedly selling counterfeit designer items at a high school holiday craft fair in Hicksville.
Nassau police say they were alerted that vendors were selling counterfeit goods at the Holy Trinity High School holiday fair. Police say they arrived on the scene and found the women in possession of counterfeit merchandise. The women were arrested without incident.
The suspects have been identified as Fredda Zamchik, 63, of North Bellmore; Laurice McIsaacs, 68, of Rosedale; Veronica Barcia, 31, of Ozone Park; and Diane Portillo, 34, of Cedarhurst.
Each of the women are facing several counts of trademark-counterfeiting charges. They are due to be arraigned in court on Dec. 7.
