Brooklyn Marathon held in Prospect Park

About 500 runners are recovering after finishing the Brooklyn Marathon.



The 26.2-mile event was held in Prospect Park.



It was the fifth year the race was held.



"It's challenging because of the hill," said the race's director, Steve Lastoe. "It's different to the New York City Marathon because it's entirely in a park -- a lot like the New York City Marathon was at its inception."
