Police: KKK fliers found outside Hampton Bays homes

Police say fliers of hate are turning up outside homes in Hampton Bays.

A resident of Gardenia Avenue tells News 12 little bags were found in front of a home on Halloween night. The bags had candy inside and a flier urging the recipient to join the KKK.

Southampton police say another KKK flier similar to this was also found about a mile away on School Street.

According to police, they resemble fliers found in the East End area earlier this year.

If the person responsible is found, they could face a town code violation for littering.

Some residents feel that isn't enough.
