Judge to decide on fines for 2 Montauk nightclubs

A judge could decide today if two popular Montauk nightclubs will have to pay big fines or even worse.

An East Hampton Town judge could decide whether to fine the Sloppy Tuna or Surf Lodge, according to Newsday.

Rowdy behavior and noise topped the list of complaints about the bars and nightclubs in July.

Fines for noise could range from $1,000 to $10,000.

The judge could also decide whether club operators must serve up to 15 days in jail.
