6 people rescued in Great South Bay
A fishing trip left one person injured and five others in need of rescuing Saturday night in the Great South Bay.
Six people were rescued after police say Steven Kilmeade's fishing boat hit a sand bar off East Fire Island.
One of the passengers, Dustin Damrau, was thrown forward and knocked unconscious. He is now in the hospital.
The others onboard, including three young children, are expected to be OK.
