Levittown neighborhood falls victim to car break-ins

Police are investigating a string of car break-ins in Levittown.

Home security cameras at two different houses on Chimney Lane appear to have captured the suspect stealing items from a car. Another angle shows a second suspect scoping out other vehicles.

Residents say the thieves entered at least seven unlocked cars on the block just before 1 a.m. Monday.

They say money, iPads and a $1,500 Movado watch were among the items stolen. The victims say the cars themselves were undamaged.

Police are asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.
