Motorcyclist killed in Port Jefferson Station crash

A motorcyclist was killed in a crash Sunday night in Port Jefferson Station.



The crash happened just after 11:30 p.m. on Route 112 near Jefferson Avenue.



Police say Christopher Danielsen, of Sound Beach, lost control of his bike and crashed into several parked cars at the Diamond Auto Body shop.



The 36-year-old was taken to Stony Brook University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.



Anyone with information on the crash is asked to call Suffolk County police.
