Fans swarm stores for Mets gear after NLCS win

Mets fans swarmed stores Thursday for National League Championship gear following the team's pennant win Wednesday night.

News 12 was at the Modell's store in Farmingdale, where a manager said they have locker room T-shirts, hats, hooded sweatshirts and much more for all Mets fans.

Even Sweeties Candy Cottage in Huntington got into the action by selling "Metzels."

The Mets will be returning to the World Series Tuesday night for the first time since 2000. Their last championship was in 1986, when they defeated the Boston Red Sox in seven games.
