An alleged drunken driver trying to avoid police wound up crashing into a bagel store in Bay Shore Friday night.

Investigators say Sean Molin tried to avoid officers when he saw them on the road. They say he crashed into the Bagel Cafe on West Main Street.

Molin was subsequently arrested and charged with DWI and driving without a license.
