Pig back home after going on lam in E. Patchogue
A portly pig is back home after briefly going on the lam in East Patchogue.
The 125-pound pig named Squeeze got loose from its home on Scherger Avenue Thursday night.
Suffolk SPCA officers responded and were able to get ahold of Squeeze on nearby Taylor Avenue. The pig was returned to its owner.
SPCA officers said that the pig was friendly and posed no danger to the community.
However, the SCPA says it's now looking for a new home for Squeeze because he's gotten too big for his current owner.
