Suspected drunken driver hits same car twice
Dashboard camera footage appears to show a suspected drunken driver crash into the same car twice Thursday afternoon and then nearly hit a good Samaritan that had stopped to assist.
The footage shows the SUV crash head-on into Yana Krasnov's minivan on North Ocean Avenue in Medford. Krasnov says a good Samaritan got out of her own car to help and to make sure the other car didn't take off.
However, video shows the SUV back up into the middle of the intersection and then drive into the minivan again. The good Samaritan ran out of the way to avoid being hit.
Krasnov's two young daughters were in the minivan at the time. The family was not injured.
Police say the driver of the car that hit them, Linda Spina, was drunk.
News 12 Long Island tried to talk with Spina at her Selden home Friday, but she wouldn't come to the door. She did, however, say that she is very sorry to the Krasnov family.

Spina was arraigned on a DWI charge and released.
